I want to share with you why at this age I actually feel stronger and younger than I did 10 years ago, and how taking one supplement has energized my world.
When I look back to my 40s, I felt really good. But I’m not sure I felt as strong mentally and physically as I do now. I am a lover of physical fitness and have been for many, many years. I have been enjoying paddleboarding for years, but one thing is for sure: The boards are large and a little on the heavy side. I need strength to carry it and I need the energy to keep up with my husband and son.
Feeling on Top of My Game
Being on land or water, it’s important to be aware of everything going on around you. With extra energy, I find it easier to be attentive to what’s important in my daily life, whether I’m driving, walking or at a meeting.

Fitting it in. I love showing up to my classes ready to go and energized. I used to only attend my classes in the morning because I would rarely have the energy to attend a class in the evening. Now I’m able to show up for the one that works for my home and work schedule—and because I’m not wiped out at the end of the day.
And After Fitness Class
These days, my muscles feel like they’re in great shape. For me, this means my muscles don’t feel as tight when I wake up or I’m sitting in front of my computer for hours. Our muscle cells do use NAD to recover from workouts (read more about that in my previous blog post) and maybe that’s helping.
We are a travelling family and I no longer anticipate feeling exhausted after crossing time zones. I began taking Tru Niagen over the summer before we went to Europe. My energy levels were above and beyond what I would have expected. The jet lag just didn’t seem to get to me as much as usual.
Attending Social & Influencer Events
At least two to three days a week I’m at events in the morning or evenings, and sometimes both. I’ve also noticed there’s no need for mid-day caffeine to keep me on schedule.
Looking Good, Feeling Good
It’s no surprise that health starts at your cells, so perhaps it goes without saying that beauty does, too. I’ve written enough about my favorite designers that you probably know clothes make me feel beautiful… But so does this extra energy. When I’m going out with my friends, to events, or staging a photoshoot, I feel good from the inside out.
Here’s what I’m most energized about. Taking Tru Niagen has helped me learn about my body, my mind, the science behind NAD, and how we can age smarter and stay healthy as we age. I will get behind that any day. That energizes my soul!
Eating a well-balanced diet, exercising regularly and getting enough sleep are the best ways to maintain your natural energy levels, but that’s not always possible. And, as we age we do lose NAD.
