DAWN LEVY FAUX-FUR COAT

Fall is officially here and in full swing and I’m ready and waiting to wear my faux fur Dawn Levy coat. Dawn Levy’s collection is unique, feminine, and flattering. Wearing this coat makes me feel like my most luxurious and modern self and it’s a faux fur with a fashion twist.

I’ve found this coat to be super versatile as well since it pairs nicely with a slouchy tank top, boyfriend jeans, and white mules for Sunday brunch with the girl gang or you can glam it up like I did with this J.Crew skirt and my favorite Angela Scott boots. The feathery blush tones are my favorite detail and blush has become one of my go-to neutrals for fall, especially peppered with gold accents like this Valentino clutch for a gorgeous fall palette.

IT'S A JUNGLE OUT THERE

Move over floral print… the leopard is back in town… or in my case I never knew it went out of town. It’s a jungle out there and I’m thrilled to be in good company. I’ve actually held onto almost everything I own that’s leopard and I plan to keep adding to my collection.

In the 1950’s people started wearing leopard print lingerie, bikinis and it took on that “racy” label. In 1962 Jackie Kennedy wore an Oleg Cassini leopard coat and the demand for leopard soared.

I’ve had these Manolo’s for almost ten years and they’re still in style. I bought these at Neiman Marcus, not sure the exact ones are available but there are plenty to check out.

The great news about faux-fur leather jackets is they don’t have to be expensive to look great. You can dress it up or dress it down and it goes with almost every jewel tone. I personally love the adjectives that come to mind when I wear leopard…strong, sexy and powerful.

So kick up your heels and let your leopard spirit fly. Whether you want to stand out or blend in, I’m sure you’ll find just the right print for you. It’s pretty much timeless and will forever be a go-to print for me.
