GOLDEN MEMORIES

Looking back on 2015 I realized that being in my 50's was truly an "eye-opening" experience. There really is no need to sweat the little things, and you say, "I am who I am," and boy is that a great feeling! A world of opportunities can open up to you if you just relax and let go. You become comfortable in your own skin and self-assured, and its never to late to follow your dreams. So this New Year's Eve make a date with yourself to go out into the world and be your best YOU!  "Go For The Gold"

Gold is always an elegant choice to set the tone for your festive evening. I was inspired when I saw my friends gold skirt. I thought, how timeless and feminine.  Every woman needs a shiny, pretty, gold skirt.

This House of Harlow clutch has a chain inside if you need to be hands free.

I also wore this Black Silk Sam & Lavi top with my blue jeans & white jeans. It's sexy and chic and it packs great.

Go out and have fun. Kick up your heels and dance, laugh, sing and feel alive!

There is no such thing as "dressing 50"  We are past the point when someone can say you're dressing too young.

If you're ever in Dallas, Urban Flower Grange Hall is a fantastic boutique. This great Cuff Bracelet came from there. It's filled with beautiful, unique and one-of-a-kind goodies.

Take some time to reflect back on the positive things in your life. Be grateful for the lessons, big or smile that you've learned, you wouldn't be you if it weren't for your experiences. Love yourself, be kind to yourself...and when you do everything around you will change for the better. We all have so much to offer, let's not play small... In 2016 let's all be brilliant together.

Take a leap of faith and begin this wondrous new year by believing. Believe in yourself, and believe that there is a loving source - just waiting to be asked to help you make your dreams come true.    Sarah Ban Breathnach

I want to hear what you did for New Year's Eve. Have a wonderful evening, no matter what you do, if you're going out, have fun when you're getting ready. I know you will shine wherever you are.

JOLI - TEA TIME

This holiday season take a little time for tea. For those early mornings or late afternoons, Joli mug with infuser is the perfect size for your desk or kitchen.  Joli means beautiful in French.

The Rebuplic of Tea has some great options. While you're working on the computer you can become a bit entranced as the leaves blossom open to reveal their hidden surprises. There is something so calming while watching the bud unfold. The peach flavor is like biting into a fuzzy, ripe peach. Hermès Cup

Joli / Mug with Infuser / Great idea for a gift anytime of the year.

Teavana Peach blooming tea / Tea time and conversation with a friend is always a good idea. My dear friend Loretta gave this gift to me, and it's so nice to have my tea and think of Loretta and her generous heart. It always makes me smile... That's a wonderful gift.

Teas taste amazing, but take a look at all of their amazing benefits

“Writing is a job, a talent, but it's also the place to go in your head. It is the imaginary friend you drink your tea with in the afternoon.”  Ann Patchett

Thank you Loretta...

Your home is your castle. Be the Queen, The Princess, The Leader...Creating a sacred space in your environment is like giving ourselves a caring gift from the Universe. It's loving yourself and your space and letting everything divine flow through you. It's not important where you live, it's important how you live. You can make the simplest everyday things meaningful. First of all... we have the knowledge and the ability to feed our body and mind with healthy choices.  Everyday is a gift and we can choose to do better. Create the magic in your life, and everything else begins to change around you for the better...
