What is Psychitecture, you ask...
Rachel Melvald is often referred to as the Marie Kondo of the West; She is the founder of Psychitecture design intervention, Psychitecture coaching, and her consultation services use evidenced-based psychological design treatment strategies to strengthen relationships and promote wellness in the home and place of business.
The PSYCHITECTURE method was born out of the increased need for trauma-informed couples intervention in the living space. She’s developed a specialized set of trauma-informed therapeutic skills based on research on how the environment co-regulates and improves our mental health individually while also serving to intervene with couples, families, and systems in spatial design conflict. Rachel was featured in DWELL magazine and currently hosts the podcast called “The Psychitect is IN”.

I recently spent time with Rachel in my office, well, my creative space, I like to call it; it’s small and intimate and my associate and I find it quite peaceful. Rachel brought to my attention how I subconsciously chose decor that represents joyful moments both past and present. I've learned quite a bit from Rachel, so I wanted to share her lovely energy and insight with you.
