Janet Gunn is always quite the source of sartorial inspiration. We routinely turn to her if we're looking for fresh shopping tips or style advice. You may remember when she recently shared the loungewear looks she's loving at the moment. Well, given the fact that she adores fashion and works as an influencer, she's accumulated quite the smattering of clothing items over the years. As a result, she spent time recently reorganizing her closet and purging items she's not wearing as much anymore. Naturally, we were intrigued by her closet clean-out process. Who What Wear Article

Thanks to the help of stylist and closet organizer Sherry Farrahi, I have done a major purge, and “less is more” is a fact. By chance have you watched the documentary called The Minimalists on Netflix? This was eye-opening. Letting go is always a daily activity for me on all kinds of topics, and when it comes to clothes, clearing out feels GREAT! Purging: Oversize Bags That Haven't Gotten Use

I admit I am a bit of a bag lady. Sure, I love a designer bag, but I am also a huge collector of other styles. I've also slowly been ditching my heavy, oversize bags for smaller, structured ones. FASHION MASKS THAT GIVE BACK - ADD STYLE AND PROTECTION

Yes I know it’s a never-ending conversation when it comes to wearing a protective face mask. In an ideal world, social distancing, staying at home, and washing hands along with a proper shutdown just might have helped stop the spread of COVID-19. But it seems like no one really knows how this might play out, so I say, better safe than sorry and be respectful to those around us who may have pre-existing health conditions.

There does seem to be a decrease in cases but we haven’t even hit flu season. I’ve attached links below on helpful tips for nutrition and science. If you are in the market for a new mask and looking for brands that give back along with a fashion flair, here are a few of my favorites who so graciously gifted me and who continue to support my blog.

Former Fashion Industry Executive, Jaye Hersh-Eigler realized that as the supply for surgical masks for our frontline workers dwindled, she had to create an alternative option for face coverings. I will say these masks are the most comfortable and If you’ve already purchased from GHF you’ve helped provide over 365,000. meals in L.A. county so thank you!

I enjoy wearing the masks that give a sense of calm when you look at them and this one from Ala von Auersperg reminds me of a beautiful garden, a portion of proceeds to God’s Love We Deliver.

David August - located in Newport Beach is known for his luxury men’s clothing for those who want fashion-forward protection or the person who has everything. David August donates to The RETI (Resilience, Education, Training, Innovation) Center Rapid Resilience’s Mask Force NYC initiative. This nonprofit organization is providing essential medical-grade PPE for frontline workers across the country during the fight of this global pandemic.

Try adding in your favorite essential oil to the inside of your mask, oils can have an instant calming and an overall feeling of well being, this one from Daughter Alchemy is my go-to for an instant mood booster.

Not sure where this is all headed but for sure we are experiencing a shift and an opportunity for us all to educate ourselves, take charge of our own health, and working together. As far as traveling goes, when it all revs up again, I think I’ll be sporting a mask, I feel like they might be in our future for a while longer…they’ll definitely be in my back pocket. Overall, follow your gut and live your life however it feels best.
